Clarice Cliff used the Biarritz Shape extensively, but the patterns applied were not always hers.
Square and rectangular shaped plates are harder to manufacture as they tend to warp or sag during firing, and the edges have a tendency to chip more easily.
Consequently items in good order are hard to find.
